Lol, I was wondering how TTP would package their "Z Chip"

I wonder if you can get the E85 content reading ability on the DashDaq now or perhaps in the future

This device could be the kick-start to a true "flex fuel" evo with ECU mapping adjusting accordingly to ethanol % with no user input O0

Ok got it connected now.Â* I was on 91 octane and ran the gas tank low. I filled up on 12 gallons of E85.Â* I drove for a few days and filled up another 12 gallons of E85 at ConserveFuel in Los Angeles.Â* Here's the results:

hmmm weird only 71 % ethanol should be 85 for some reason i expected it to be lower than 85 %

Maybe we are in class 3 instead of class 1 or 2 according to the e85 handbook the volatility or percentage of Ethanol changes seasonally. Here is a link it is on pg. 11 and 23 I believe explains it. This is an older handbook and maybe there is a newer one. Goosd stuff If you are into reading about e85.

I found a link the other day about mixing water or something in this beaker and shaking it up and you can measure the actual ethanol content minus the additives gas etc... lol this is the poor mans ECA although business and government agencies use this method or so I am told.

Why do Zetronix gauges always look like something from 1985? I swear there was a similar gauge in the Delorean on Back to the Future!

Yeah from a tuning standpoint it doesn't seem to matter much between 70% and 90% Ethanol content.Â* Basically the Conservfuel place buys whatever is cheapest.Â* Last year when gas was over $4 the Ethanol content at this station was 92%.

Er, i had the ECA wired incorrectly. I suck at electrical wiring. Anyways, I wired it correctly and its now reading E92 now. Here's the results and a short video of it in action:

I filled up on 12.4 gallons of "E85" in my 14 gallon tank. I previously had 1.6 gallons of 91 octane in the tank. Here's how much ethanol i now got in my tank:
