GMR silver evo 9 crash Nov 11 2008

Bad news. Few friends and I were doing a GMR run tonight and as we were coming down the backway of gmr, we saw a totaled evo. really fucking sucks. i have pictures of it. let me know if youre the owner and would like to see them. im gonna wait a few days for a response and if i dont get one then im just gonna put them up.

yeah. i didn't see any blood or anything but i was really bummed out. plus before we saw that, someone driving their miata crashed at the 2 or 3 turn right at the start of GMR

the miata i think was either black or dark green. he was just went ontop of one of those cement/rock block things on the turns at gmr.

1.it could of been stolen car. they took it for joyride but crashed it and just took what they can fast..
2.the owner left for tow truck or to hospital or somewhere and other canyon drives saw an oppertunity.
3.the owner crashed and left it to claim the car was stolen.
4.we will never know what really happened.

Yeah, doubt thats a stock turbo, with tubular manifold the stock turbo looks like a tiny snail. Guy was running a strange setup though, stock intake tube.

Don't forget somone probably crashed with a friend following, ditched the car to say it was stolen, but took all the parts they could easily get off and sell before they bailed. If I crashed my car with no witnesses in the middle of the night... pretty sure sounds like the best idea.

yeah. i think there was someone before us. i actually remember what that paper said.

it said " damn nigga got your shit all fucked up hope everything is okay". I tried taking a picture but while we were there, there was such an eerie feeling that i just wanted to get the pictures and get out of there, and the two shots that i got of the paper, were out of focus.

The good thing was that there was no blood at all. I checked for that myself with my other 3 friends.

Another thing i remember is that i touched the manifold to see how warm it was. And it was a bit warm. (That night was really cold up there, so I'm assuming that it happened like maybe an hour before we got there or so.)

Also EVERYTHING WAS GONE! anything from a turbo timer to the fucking shift knob.

Yes the car was blocking both lanes and my friend was driving his GT-R and we had to go off the road a bit to make it through.

Ok 7 pages down and i think i figured it out:

1) Most of us or all of us usually carry some sort of basic tools to fix repairs on the go which can me to believe he had some tools in the trunk that "owner" or "thieves" used to pretty much take off most of the basic pieces
2) The spare tire and other 2 tires were taken off with the jack and crow bar that mitsu conveniently gives us and are stored in trunk with a whole bunch of other shiz
3) The driver is none other than STIG, he just wanted to see how the canyons were and his helmet visor came down, it was completely dark and shit happens haha

hopefully im right haha
