View Full Version : New COSWORTH EVO X Parts Now Available

Here is a listing of the new parts Cosworth has available for the EVO X along with their propaganda listing features and specs. These parts are incredible to play with and touch in person. The way their pistons and cranks are built is totally different from anything else you will be able to get. They make their own casting so there are no sharp edges (stress risers). The organic flow of stress reminds me of John Britten’s style of craftsmanship.

Yes we (RRE) sell all these parts and will be stocking the cheaper items. Anything that needs to be ordered we’ll have the next day usually as long as they have it in stock. See the RRE web site for our discounted pricing.

Everything listed below fits both the EVO X and the new RalliArt Lancer.

Cosworth’s Mitsubishi 4B11T Components

We've been busy engineering a complete range of motorsport grade components for the new Mitsubishi EVO X and the 4B11T engine. The all new engine features advanced architecture compared to the tried and trusted 4G63. It's all alloy construction utilizes a heavy duty main bearing girdle to promote block stiffness and a high flowing cylinder head with chain driven, twin MIVEC camshafts for a smooth flat power band. Relying on over 50 years of motorsport technology, we've developed some very exciting components that will allow you to achieve maximum reliable performance.

Cosworth MX1 Camshafts - Available Now!

The 4B11T's performance is very impressive right out of the box, however there is always room for improvement. Older style camshaft designs used on the 4G63 are not ideal for the 4B11T and the new engine requires a different approach to camshaft profiles. The new Cosworth MX1 camshaft set will unleash additional performance and increase power across a large portion of the power curve. The Cosworth MX1 camshafts are ground from new blanks and have been engineered to be compatible with the original valve springs. Sold in matched pairs.

Cosworth 4B11T 2.2L Stroker Kit

Increased displacement means increased performance and the Cosworth 2.2L EVO X stroker kit is the perfect way to add power and torque to your EVO. Each kit includes select, matched motorsport grade components ensuring maximum reliable performance. Features billet steel, fully counter weighted crankshaft for smooth, high revving operation along with Cosworth forged steel connecting rods and forged pistons. The Cosworth 4B11T 2.2L stroker kit combines the perfect bore to stroke ratio, yielding potentially big gains in torque while still allowing the engine to rotate and produce power in the higher rpm range. Additionally, crankshafts, connecting rods and pistons are available separately.

Cosworth 4B11T Forged Pistons

With 50 years of world class engine design and manufacturing experience, Cosworth's intimate knowledge of the interaction between the piston and other engine components gives the us the distinct advantage in piston design resulting in the finest piston available. All Cosworth pistons are manufactured using the same methods as our Formula One pistons and include features such as anti-scuff skirt coating, ultra-strong pins, polished top and patented anti-detonation bands. Additionally, we have developed a completely new forging for the
4B11T to minimize weight and ensure the strongest possible piston
for maximum performance.

Kind of pretentious there. The AMS Evo X makes 487awhp on the dyno:
http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?p=6325689

487 > 413 if my math serves me correct :p

413 e85 on the stock turbo is amazing though. EVOPOWA was doing 350s on the stock turbo w/91, I don't know if the Evo X turbo can push into 400s on E85 on the stock turbo. We'll see.
