View Full Version : Uncle Scottys Cocktail....
Seem like subbie like to use Uncle Scottys Cocktail mix for their tranny fluid for some reason...
I was wondering if we can use it... i recalled we need to use heavy weight shockproof oil...
Well here it is..
1qt redline lightweight shockproof
1qt synchromesh
2qt Castrol HypoyC 80w-90

1 qt b&g scyroshift
and it works wonders and only costs about 40 bucks total.

You should use what Shephered recommends. Redline MT90 straight.....no mixing.

i dont like using any type of synchromesh due to the thinness of the fluid. it makes the tranny feel great but our cars were ment to use a more rugged 75w-90 weight oil.
Ive personally ran lightweight shockproof in the tranny from day 1
