help with tranny!!

For some reason my car doesn't have 4th gear. I never heard anything break snap bang nothing. I put it in 4th and release the clutch pedal and nothing. I wasn't miss treating it just happend out of no where.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

i lost 1st and second gear before.. felt like nothing was there.. we opened up the tranny and found something wrong and fixed it right away...

dont know if the same would be the problem with yours but i would definetly get it checked out... you might even have warranty

Update now it works. Went around the block and it was fine. Then it messed up once more but then it started to work and hasn't messed up since. I have almost 28,000 miles on it and have had it for 2 years and 4 months so there has to be warenty still

might be metal shaving in the tranny .. i would get that looked at since your under warranty man

*Update* got an appointment for the 8th instead. Should have it back by the 12th.

Well for thoughs of you wondering, it ended up being the shifter forks breaking. They didn't warrenty it either. So i payed and they rebuilt the tranny and put new shifter forks and she shifts beautiful

i had 6th gear problem. i cant put 6th gear before.
i rebuild my tranny 7month ago. i saw internels, some gears were broken. and syncros too.
because of,hi rev launching, miss shift at hi rev.
drive smooth, save your tranny. too much boost on evo. ha ha..
