We finally got the last piece of our SS1 package in stock, the Adjustable Hollow front sway bar. We went with a hollow design to get as much weight off the nose as possible (every little bit helps).

Now with the front and rear swaybars and our ride springs we have a nice set up for street driven cars that might see some occasional track time.

Just wanted to keep you guys posted.

Package includes:

-WORKS Ride Springs
-WORKS Adjustable Front Swaybar
-WORKS Adjustable Rear Swaybar
-WORKS USB Sway Bar Bushings
-Installation Instructions

NOW WITH FREE GROUND SHIPPING UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY

The hollow design is right about half the weight of the solid OEM unit. I don't have the figures in front of me but I think it is about 6.5 lbs for the WORKS bar vs. 13 lbs for the OEM or something in that ball park, so roughly 6-7 lbs of weight savings off the nose.

I'll try and get the exact figures and post them.

UPDATE:

We are offering free ground shipping on this package to the continental US for the rest of the month of January. Order now to take advantage of this offer. Rember springs and swaybars are big, heavy and bulky, meaning they are expensive to ship so this is a good opportunity.

About how much does it drop the X....Â* an inch or 2? I have an X MR

.9 " drop at all 4 corners. This allows the car to really be used on real world roads without scraping everything in site. It also allows us to retain the stock dampers without prematurely damaging them.

Has WORKS or any of the tuner magazines performed a slalom course time test of the WORKS spring/swaybar set up compared to the stock set up?

Not yet. But that is a great idea, I'll see if we can do something like this.

So the ride is the same as stock? Or slightly stiffer?

Pretty similar to stock, although ride is very subjective. Some of our customers say slightly stiffer, others say it feels like it rides better than stock. Personally I think it feels just a tad stiffer than the stock setup, but not enough that you really notice it on a daily basis.
