The name alone makes me want one! Pricing?

Two still available from me. 20 came in to the US on this shippment. Sound isnt as loud as a corn fed mid-west system. It isnt quiet as our stealthy stuff. Prolly has a 30 year old age limit, looks wise it's not for Irvine cars :-P

Sounds a bit to Ricey for the older crowd?

Mike W

Sound on a turbo car isnt ricey regardless of the exhaust. No one will mistake you for a honda boy coming or going with this exhaust.

But younger guys tend to want the additional attention from a louder and flashier exhaust system. Older guys already get all the pussy (and more) that they want so they dont need the extra attention.

I wish that was true!

Do you have any actual sound clips besides the ones from Mackin?

Mike W

No. You wanna help us make one?

On a side note, how do people judge exhaust sound clipse on computer speakers? With all the different camera microphones, sound level processing differences and computer speakers varying all over the place I always wondered how you could compare. Mid-West small can systems sound nice on the internet but in person drone like a mo-fo.

I agree with you completely Mike...its more of a ballpark indicator if anything. to see if its high pitch, deep or raspy, etc if anything. Mike also wanted to ask you. Do you have any direct back views of the system mounted on the car? Thanks again for the post man!

How about this... come in, we'll install it. If you dont like it, we'll put you back to stock and you dont pay anything. If you like it, you pay for the exhaust and $40 for the install.

Sounds like a deal!Â* But I'm not in Cali so I don't think that will be possible.Â* Looks like a quality system for sure.Â* Just want to get a bit more feedback from other until I pull the trigger!

Either way we need more ppl and shops like Mike offering services like that! Now thats customer service!

How does this MXP exhaust compare vs your RRE dual type-Chris exhaust. I'm deciding between the 2 and intend on going above 350hp sooner or later. Would the loops on the MXP exhaust be rather restrictive?

Thanks for the info :)

Our stuff would flow better other than the sideways exhaust we make. Looks like it would flow about the same as our sideways one we make.

Mike W

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price is $1245

Minimum Advertised Price is $1120.50

If a guy wanted a dealio on one he would ask in private I guess. Bump for secret pricing!

Love my MXP...nice and quiet normally but sounds great at WOT. Pretty good gains, too. O0 Would definitely recommend this exhaust.

I bought this exhaust 2 weeks ago.
Love the sound, its not loud at all. Had some cops cruising behind me and had no problems at all.
The only thing I have a problem with is the fitment, the tips are not aligned. The right tip is lower and sticks out a bit more then the left.
I've tried reinstalling it 3 times (took everything out and put it back.) and can't fix it.
I don't know what to do, I'll post some pics later, maybe some one on here will know if I did anything wrong.

Agreed I have this issue also! Mike do you have a solution for this?

Mike W

If you bought it from me I'll fix it for free. If you got it somewhere else, have the guys that sold it to you contact the manufacturer to get it worked out for you.

I just got mine put on thanks to Mike and his team at RRE, thanks again. This exhaust sounds really great and quiet. Does anyone have any idea on how much hp this adds without tune?? I ve been searching everywhere for dyno gains with this exhaust but can't find any.

All free flowing exhausts are about the same. On an EVO X you can go from 250-260 at the wheels stock up to 290 to 310 at the wheels with exhaust and intake and no cat and FMIC and what all. But it is messy janky dyno chart hp. The ECU is fighting the boost and things are knocking.

I cant remember doing any back to back dyno on a cat back only and vs other cat back only cars. It was pretty much assumed 15 years ago that straight through piping flowed better than flowing through this mess:
