I got a couple ideas for my head/block.
Would also like to see what the ball park figures are for RRE too.

Yo Gil what turbo you planning to run on this 2.3?

something smaller. nothing bigger then a 30r.

i want to maintain quick spool since im building this year for the track and want boost coming out of turns at all times. O0

30r and under with 2.3 will be mad spool. Good build. I'm all for spool, but a little more lag and much more power is f***ing addicting lol

its not going to happen yet...i just want as estimated price on install and labor to build it.

after income tax comes in, i might have enough to do it all in 1 shot. O0

also mike:

Why do hot dogs come 10 to a pack while buns are 8 to a pack?

GilbertFlores

because the bun god wants us to suffer.......

Because they assume a ratio of two adults to two kids in a family and that in a given BBQ day two kids will eat one hot dog each without buns, because kids are just like that. Â*Each adult will eat three hots dogs with buns because as a society we are fat and gluttonous

If you could let me know pricing as well, i'm going to have to decide what direction i'm going for my busted EVO.

I'm looking for Super Reliable, something that will last forever (given that it isn't tracked and pushed super hard).

thanks

maybe if you can give me some info on GT40's build he told me to contact you.

You can do that with a "stockish" car ... big power does not equal faster lap times. It can actually hurt your lap times..unless you're a pro-driver...I'd say use your extra money to pay for some seat time...tracking is expensive. You will be amazed how quickly you go through tires, brakes, track fees and gas! Plus the added cost of maintenance. BTW all that new power = your stock Brembos suddenly NOT stopping your Evo! Maybe take a trip down to RRE and discuss your plans with Mike or Honda Robert. They will advise you on your best plan of attack. Just let them know EXACTLY what you want to do with your car. They are the best! They will help you out and not just try to take your money and run! :D

Not to dissuade you from spending your hard earned money but fuel has some good points. For reference, why don't you ask either GT40 or RichardEVO (both who've had built high hp motor'd cars) just how much it cost them to maintain their setups for the track. The further you go away from stock or stock-ish, the more $$$ you should be prepared to spend on repairs and maintenance. So long as you know that going in, you'll be fine.

I also agree with more power not = faster lap times. More instruction and seat time = faster lap times. But if you just want to rocket from turn to turn to feel the rush, have at it ;)

Either way, you can't go wrong with RRE.
