evo x mr owners

im trying to find out if this is normal for the evo x mr. when im coming to a stop and start to apply the brakes i hear clanking sounds from the front of my car. im not sure if its just the transmission but It can be controlled depending on how much i push the brake pedal down. letting of the brakes a lil i dont feel it as much. another thing is when im in traffic and just holding the gas pedal sometimes i would feel the car jerk then the rpms would go higher. is it just me or have you other mr owners experience the same thing. sorry for the run on sentences. thanks

Dont mean 2 b a dick but u should have gotten a gsr or waited the next year for the bugs to get worked out.

i think i know what your talking about and its the trans downshifting... i only get it in normal mode... in sport not at all. i think because in normal mode it dosnt match rev as much as in sport... ive done 3 lauches and 1 willow springs track day( yesterday to be exact) and good damn i love this trans man.. its awsome... gsr cant afford an mr... or let me guess you like shifting and hearing the blow off valve... :2funny: about fixing bugs... no complaints here trans shift so smooth and fast

you better switch it to transformer mode and talk to your autobot evo. then switch it back to super saiyen mode and tell it too kamehameha! hahaha!!! GSR is better. MR are for girls. lol. JP

check with the dealership if there is TSB (technical service bulletin) release for your car. you might need to get your ecu re-flashed if there is an upgrade.

I think it might be the engine down shifting (like others stated). But then again, it shouldn't be a "clunk"...

If you have your warranty, just take it in.
