Im bone stock right now. Im going to be getting a new clutch and my options are Stock Exedy.... Exedy Stage 1.... ACT HDSS. The MR clutch is a little soft.sloppy for me. I never launch the car or slam into gears but i want a clutch that will give me a more solid feel for longer and not have the deal pee their pants incase this MR tranny does end up having problems (knock on wood cause the tranny is perfect now!!!)

What you all think? Pros Cons?

i believe RRE recommends the Thugline Po'Boy Clutch kit for the MR.

it's the ACT 2800 lbs version.

just get the HDSS with the proline flywheel.

add the stainless steel clutch line and some quality fluids and you'll be set for awhile.

O0
blueprint hit that one on the head (especially if he ment ACT's prolite flywheel).
Take out the fluid restrictor too while you're in there.

Well i want to keep my car legit with the dealership too...dont want to have them say...well look at that yellow thing you got in there... were not going to fix your tranny....assuming something happens down the road (knock on wood cause the thing is perfect now).

is it really worth getting the SS clutch line? what do you get out of it anyways. i'm about to install the ACT HDSS with the streetlite flywheel. I hope it works good.

who is installing this for you? have you gotten quotes on the work? I'm planning on doing this as well with the exact same parts on my 06 IX mr. so far I've only had one quote from SocalMitsubishi at 500 in labor. Seems pretty decent, but then I'm new to all this.
