^ if those are all your mods, you might as well suck it up and go have an aftermarket clutch installed at roadrace because I seriously doubt you get one under warranty. good luck.

As for almost any vehicle, the clutch is a wear and tear item, and generally not covered under warranty.

Evo X clutch is designed properly it isnt weak or anything like that.. its depending on the driver.. As for needing a new clutch we offer the Evo X clutch Install at the same price as the evo IX install for a limited time. Pm me if you are interested in getting a quote..

Even if you car is not modded, isn't clutch a wear and tear item? Meaning no warranty?

I have never seen Mitsu cover a clutch under warranty. I've seen guys with a evo X and 1500 on the car and they need a new clutch.

Yeah, I am sure it was my fault. I took the car drifting and that was a bad idea. Got it replaced at road race engineering and they did a great job. I am now running the Exedy multiplate kit. Took a but to get used to but seems great now

I had a IX and I feel as though the X's clutch is made much better. My X has around 22kmiles and most of it has been driven with 320whp. I drive my car like if I stole it ever since day 1 and its held up very strong. Another thing is that I dont launch the X like how I used to in my IX. I switched out my clutch on the IX at around 21k.

I thought clutch was a wear tear like tires... if that was the case, people would be getting crazier

All the talk of early clutch failures on the X has me concerned... but then again I don't launch so hopefully it will hold up.

It will hold up as long as you dont Honda launch your car.
