Either take off the bars or use spacers.

its most likely the second bar. Place some spacers under the bar and youre good to go! Just had to do this to my ride.

home depot.... get some washers... put them on the bolts for the bars so they extend down more... you are probably going to need about 3-4 washers on each bolt..

good luck

I have the Megan DP, it cleared great until I was rear ended. It started rattling so I added some washers, now its fine. I wonder why this one is touching the tie bars.

Had the same prob with the QTP DP....these guys are all giving u the right info. A few simple washers to bring down the bar should do just fine. I would reccomend that you do give urself a bit of added clearance to account for movement and flex in the piping. :mitsu:

Space it AND heat wrap your DP while you are down there. That way, you can space less and any rattle will be muffled by the heatwrap.

Just did it yesturday on my buddys evo. Helix dp I believe. I actually just bent the bar and put a good curve in it where it hit, and then only used about a 1/4" spacer on the center bolt.

Everything bolted right back up, and I feel better about that because at least 2 of the bolts are fully threaded into the chassis, ya know?
