Everyone says to stick with stock.
Stock works pretty good.
I went with the Perrin short shifter.
I wasn't so concerned with the shortness of the shift,
what i liked about this kit was how you could adjust the angle of
the stick. Check out the link to see what i mean..
I love mine...

Just say no, imo... For that matter, avoid things like tt(turbo timer) and ss(short shifter) in general :P Â*These things with their hello kitty cute names are just there to take your money. Â* They don't make your car drive, stop or function in any way better and may cause problems. Â*

Rant over

disagree^^ you always have to shift everytime you drive. It is always one of my favorite upgrades.I have a fidanza and i love it.It is way shorter, feels more stiff like it cant miss the gear. For how cheap they are,its totally worth it.Oh yeah, it took me about 25 mins start to finish to install mine.

none, if you have a stock tranny and dont like putting unnecessary stress on your synchros, stay away from short shifters.

^^^^agreed. Short shifters just burn thru syncros.

Have had the Agency power in the race car for over a 2 years now.. as long as you shift properly you wont cause any damage to anything...

Depends on what you use the car for. I don't understand why anyone would put in a short shifter on a DD. Would never put unneccessary stress on my car just for a part that seems so impractical.

I dun even know if there's a real gain in performance.

I disagree, it's a feel mod just like SS brake lines. I drive my car for enjoyment, I enjoy it more with a short shifter and it's therefore far from useless. I hated how long the stock throws were.

a short shifter is not useless. If you have an MR then yea because stock they are shorter then the 5 speeds. Its all about feeing good with what you got. 5 speeds get a short throw and new synchros and have fun...also learn how to shift properly and you wont mis shift!

couldn't agree more with you O0

Short shifter suck balls.Â* Notchy as hell. B&M is the worst.Â* I highly suggest keep it stock.
