Im about to order a single din Sony head unit thats bluetooth compatible.

Do i need to buy anything extra like a harness?

i would order one from crutchfield... they work the best and are very easy.

buying a harness is way cleaner and easier than cutting the wires and making ur own.

yes, unless you want to completely hard wire the radio and never go back to stock i would get a harness. Best bet is to check out installer.com there from my home town and stock everything they have, plus their cheap.

Yeah, Best Buy has harnesses for sale but they're like $20 or $30. Crutchfield gives you them for free with a HU. So if you're already getting a HU then try poking around elsewhere but definitely get one.

Agree with harness and trying to get one free with HU purchase somewhere like Crutchfield.

In crutchfield they only show Lancer but not lancer evolution, is it the same thing?

Depends on bluetooth is built in or not in sony. If its then you dont need anything. Yes like everyone said check crutchfield and make sure.
