View Full Version : compressor surge or bov problem?

my car makes the turkey noise when gassing at low rpms sometimes after installing piping and intake amongst other things. is there a way to fix this problem or does that happen to stock turbos when you add some stuff to it? let me know guys thanks

What year what?

What intake and piping?

What BOV?

Who did the install?

Under WOT or when you let off the gas?

aem intake nisei piping and intercooler cams stock bov everything for stage 1e+ installed and tuned at your shop mike. its an 06 ix mr. thanks. oh its when i half throttle and let go at low rpms around 3k when it flutters thanks

Alot of cars get it when they install the piping and stuff because now they have an open element filter and they are able to here things much more clearer from the BOV and turbo. I would definetly check the vacuum lines and just make sure there are no kinks and the line is free.

Check the orientation of the stock b.o.v, it may be on backwards.
