Im getting a loud rattling noise from the bottom end of the engine when I rev it passed 4K RPM. I just changed the timing belt and Balance shaft belt, but nothing else. Engine is In time, idles like it did before we did the job, but once you hit 4,000 RPM and over, the engine gets real loud and sounds like something is loose in the bottom end of the engine.

Any idea's from anyone including guys at RRE would be wonderful and greatly appreciated. :mitsu:

You have the front balance shaft (the one driven by the timing belt and oil pump) out of phase. Take it all apart and pay more attention to the part of making sure that the balance shaft is in the correct phase when you line up the mark. If you only line up the mark on the oil pump sprocket then you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right.

www.vfaq.com has a nice write up we helped write a million years ago on how to do the safe cracker method. Lots easier than take the bolt out and stick a screwdrive in the hole method.
