I'm looking to build a decent low-budget home theater pc. This will primarily be for playing blu-rays & as an emulation system (nes, snes, n64, etc). Has anyone here built their own? What setup are you running? Thanks!

No one has a htpc? I'm probably going with an inexpensive low-power cpu like the AMD 4850e. I need to find a motherboard with a built-in gpu capable of hd & a htpc case that looks okay...

All you need is a decent core 2 duo or above. I run Boxee on my core 2 duo pc with 1080p videos ripped using Makemkv from Blu-Ray discs. I have my entire music, picture, video collection at my fingertips. You don't need a super powerful pc to do this. I would recommend a mac mini with Plex, but macs don't play blu-ray.

You shouldn't need to spend more than $200-300.
