what wheels were you planning to get...the spoke design could make a difference in which offset you choose.

^^ thats disgusting. Just because you want different doesn't mean you have to resort to tenzos. Go hunt down a set of blitz type 01s in 18x9.5s. Maybe CCW classics in 17x10s? Tons of rim choices out there.

Oh and to answer your original question, it doesn't matter the offset as long as it clears the calipers. And if you want to know what offset clears the caliper, then well the answer is that it depends on which specific rims. If your gonna invest money in rims. 18x8 is not the way to go. It does not help performance and it looks extremely wrong because it'll be tucked under your fenders by at least a good 1.5 inches. Look into an 18x9.5 size and check out the ultimate aggressive wheel thread on evom.

For the record, I've had 18x8s and they were weak.

bro, 18x8! shits weak! if your going to get 18x8 tenzo, DONT. i think the evo STOCK bbs are way better. spend your money on some 18.9.5,17x9.5 and up OR loss the time attack stockers and get them re-done.

IMO bbs is a better company brand then tenzo R hahah

but its your money do what you want
