Ok guys i've been reading and reading for months trying to plan out my E85 tune.Â* I've been hesistant since my car is a DD and because i've been waiting to get some 1000CC injectors...Â* I still havn't bought them.Â* Anyway on fathers day night around 9:00pm i just randomly decided to give it a shot. My girlfreind daughter and I went for the drive down the 105 to the damn traffic jammed 405. I ran my tank nearly empty and ended up pumping 13.6 gallons of E85. i flash my ECU and car started up great. fuel trims where perfect and my AFR readings were spot on. logged the car all the way home with no problems.Â* started tuning and tweaking that night and i didn't wrap it up till 1AM. here are my graphs and charts. let me know what you guys think. the base flash was extremely conservative. and my current tune is unfinished. i just wanted some thoughts and opinions.

i am still using load based boost control. i will switch over to psi control after i get my injectors and new FP wastegate. Mods are in my sig.
besides my injectors maxing out its important to note that my wastegate is bent. so my boost falls way to flat at redline. im at 100% wgdc at 7000 and 7500rpm.

base is 24psi. minimal timing based off my 91 tune. my tune so far is at 27psi with much more aggressive timing. no knock.

if your gonna show the VDR 5.3, you need to show the entire graph. RPM and all of the settings. Â* Â*j/p

on to my .02 Â* not bad at all! Â*w/ only a 6 smoothing factor??? Â*You should be able to squeeze out a lil more TQ, but over all, pretty solid! Â*Thats gotta make for a fun ride!

Damn, your timing is so aggressive. Did you happen see any gains going that aggressive per degree of timing that you added in the 3,500 to 5,000rpm region? i noticed that i was gaining less and less horsepower and torque the higher the timing I put around 3,500-5,000rpm, up to the point where the gains were very minimal and weren't worth it.Â*

if you were referring to the maps above those are of my boost not timing. my timing is to aggressive for my injectors but not for the engine. i'm going to play with it a bit myself and maybe with naji. hell i'd like to see the difference between our cars as well if ut down, not a race or anything. lol

Oh I see, the picture is too blurry for me to actually see, I'm currently on my tuning laptop which only has a 10.1 inch screen lol. I was just surprised seeing 20's in the 3,500 rpm, I assumed it was your timing map. Sure, I do live in your area just let me know. The only reason why I am making more power than you is because I have cams, but overall your car has enough power to boot.

That curve does not look normal. A good curve would peak at around 6800-7300 and them taper down. That 420 hp is just a spike from where you ended the log. When I do a DLL power curve and I get a spike like that I eliminate it either by cutting the log earlier or later.

Check the logs of Ohyeahforsure's car that I just posted using VDR.

i don't think i posted a 91 vs e85. its only my base flash vs my tune so far. i still need to log the work charlie i and have done.
