So I was installing this new LED bulb for my dome light and as I was placing the bulb in the socket, I hear a burning sound. The light was on, and I was trying to move the wires so it would be in the right place, and I guess I burned my fuse. Anyone have a similar problem? I don't really feel like going to the dealership to have this fixed, so what should I do? (It's only the right dome light that won't turn on, the left one turns on fine.
Thanks ahead of time.

It wasn't the fuse, I think it was the housing, I may have to replace it.

you probably burnt a wire on the right side just trace the wiring for the right side, and check for burnt or crisp wires then replace...no biggy, you don't wanna spend a rather large amount on a light fixture...:P

Yeah, the thing was, the light wasn't just a bulb, it has the shape of the bulb as the base to insert it into the housing, then it had a black and red wire, that led to the actual bulb that shined light. Me being so smart and all, I was fiddling with the light and trying to stick it to the side of the housing with the adhesive it came with, and I accidentally touched the medal bulb housing with the light bulb, and I heard a burning crisp sound. I don't know if that was the exact cause, but it's the only thing I can think of.
I got it fixed by the way, and stuck with my original red/pink light bulbs.
