Hey guys,
I just got my X tuned and lowered from RRE (RRE kicks ass!!! :D :D :D :D). Mike did an awesome job and my car just pulls like maaaaaad!! Also, the stance of the car just looks dead aggressive. Anyways, under hard acceleration like in 2,3, or 4th gear above 4K RPMs, there is this additional audible tire noise..like the tires are just gripping the road like crazy and getting punished. Also, if I accelerate to, lets say, 5K RPMs, the noise can be heard, but then goes away if I then stay at 5K RPMs and go at a constant speed. I checked for clearance (I have stock tires and rims) and I seem to have enough space in the wheel well. I dont see any damage in the well or on the tires.
Has anyone else experienced this additional tire noise under heavy acceleration???
