Here are some pics from the install on the Hertz Audio equipment by Elletromedia ( http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com ) installed on the Road Race Engineering Evo X.
Everything went smoothly, we had to make small cuts in the aluminum on both the front and rear doors as the OEM speakers were a bit smaller. We built the amp rack in the trunk on the passenger side and used a Rockford Fosgate capacitor. The sub was placed on the driver side of the trunk and fit almost perfectly in the OEM sub Box. The sound quality is phenomenal. It is exceptionally better that that of the OEM Rockford Fosgate system. With the Rockford setup when you are at level 40 volume which is full blast it is now the equivalent to about a level 22 with the Hertz Equipment installed. I highly recommend the Hertz audio set-up, Reasonably priced and superb audio quality.

We installed the following items from Hertz
o EP 5 5 channel amplifier
o ESK165 2 way component speakers for the front
o ECX165 coaxial speakers for the rear
o ES250D Dual Voice Coil subwoofer

Is this Hertz stuff any good? I never heard of this brand until recently. A local shop is pushing this stuff hard core. I'm still unsure though since like I said, I've never heard of this brand till recently.

Not that many retailers carry Hertz Audio, if your local shop is pushing them - they should have a display at least.

if you live in socal check out SoundManCarAudio.

I recently sold my Lancer, and picked up an 2011 Si, I'm going with Hertz Hi-Energy setup, and MORE power.

So far I have HSK-165 components in the front.
HCX-165 in the REAR
Alpine PDX-F6 (189w x 4 - according to the certificate)
Alpine PDX-M12 1260w mono amp.

I'm selling my Hertz EP 4 AMP... and some Alpine HeadUnits....
