Saw this on autoblog today. Apparently there is a fuel pipe recall on 2008-2009 lancers (including evos) :-\

Got the Fuel Line Recall done yesterday; got the notice from Mitsubishi when I got home. The recall takes about an hr.

Anyone noticed their MPG's drop from like 28-29 to 25-26? before the recall i was getting awesome mileage and after it just seems like it went down, maybe its a ticker fuel line and its more restrictive.

Well what the guy told they really do is pretty much its a bracket that holds it in place and if its bent or cracked they replace it... "imprezivevo"Â* they shouldn't flash it with out our permission

Got mine done at SCM..........haven't noticed anything different at all. Don't see any reason why they would reflash your car unless you didn't get the last factory reflash already. I got the latest flash put on my car before I got it tuned anyway. Best thing to do is contact your dealer and ask them if they flashed it............

Can anyone post pics of the completed fuel recall after re-installation of the new one?Â* I was goinf to do it myself since going to the dealership has been difficult for me.

Thanks
