Ok, I'm not too sure what happened to my car, cuz all I did was give my evo a good wash and detail the hell outta the interior of it (using Armour-all), and when I go to try to start her up, the message reads "MISSING KEY?" I'm thinking I may have wiped over something (electronic) that I maybe should not have, but that's just how I roll when it comes to cleaning  Luckily I have a spare key, so I wasn't too bad of shape, but still need to know what I need to do or not do in order for me to not let this happen again, and how do I get my original key back to normal?

If anybody has any experience on this matter or can simply point in the right direction for the answer, its much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Btw, I have the SSS w/o Navi if that helps..

Did you try putting the key closer to the steering column?

btw, stay away from Armor All, that stuff cracks dashes super easily.

^ yeah, as a matter of fact I did...I even took the actual key out of the case and put it into the ignition but it still wouldn't start :-\

I'm pretty sure I'll have to take it to the dealership and have them fix it.....prolly have them do all the recall stuff while there at it.

I'll update this thread and share all my findings
