Edo performance. Got my X tuned there. If you care to go to Huntington beach. tell them Chad sent you. Ask for Edwin. they have a good customer service. They even ask some people getting their car tuned if they can take them to the mall or other places lol. Or go to Tuning Tech. Tell them Chad sent you lol. They remember my girl Sheri. She took it to them for my tune and install for all my parts on my VIII MR when I had it. Very nice people.

Tuning Technologies is great...!

I've been tracking my car on the same tune for over two years with NO problems and several podium finishes. Who can say that? Now that says a lot about the tune and the tuner...

I've recently upgrading my turbo and enroute received a new tune from Tuning Technologies. During the weekend of my last event the ambient temps were in the 100+ degrees and the tarmac temps were in the 130+ range. After seeing first hand several cars with overheating problems and the worst that can happen blown motors, I was pretty fortunate to be able to drive my car 3+ hrs to the event and drive back with a podium finish on my 91 octane tune...

The choice is yours obviously.

Tuning Technologies gets my recommendation...

The only company that I haven't really read bad stuff about was reese and rre.

Looney I've read good things about but isn't he an independent tuner with no shop?

If your X is completely stock (nothing Intake, Exhaust, or anything), then grab Naji's Free Stock-X map (looney)..Â* If you have mods, Looney is the man.

ask Sam and Rigo who they trust to tune their evos when they have a track day in Las Vegas with 110+ degree weather.

some tuners have never tuned a evo X with something more than just an exhaust and intake, yet alone only a couple with LIGHT mods.

Can't go wrong with C-SPEC!!! First, if you get pulled over, the cop will let you go just for being with Charlie :-o(trust me I know LOL). Second, he is one of the funniest MUTHA F***ers you'll ever meet(ask him about the he/she story he experienced in Thailand :2funny:). Third, if you don't go to Charlie, he will go to your house, hide in a bush, and shoot you with a BB gun(He probably would do this to, LOL).

Oh yeah, plus you get a good tune HAHAHAHAHA O0

Hnmmmm looney tuning is good, and so is Charlie at c-spec

he will go to you wherever you are at any time, and he knows his shit.

idk why you would bother driving over an hour any where else, like you would really feel the difference since your stock

Scot and Mike at Road Race have been fantastic for me with both my VIII and X tune. They never try to up sell if the power won't be there. Here are examples of great customer service: I bought my AEM intake from RRE and installed it myself. Oops, careless and stripped MAF screw. Mike helped me fix it for free! Didn't have time to go retune my VIII with new mods so Scot picked it up and dropped it off for me. When I went to sell my VIII at Glendale Mits (morons!!!!!) Of course I bought my X from Sam at South Coast. Scot drove to the dealership from his house (40 miles) to reflash to stock as they were giving me shit. He wouldn't take a dime from me so I bought him dinner. Threw a code last week on my X so Scot tweaked that map at my house and reset the light for free. Both cars did and do run perfect with great results. When I got my custom Stealth exhaust made by Mike, they even let me borrow their shop car for a few days when needed. Road Race Engineering Rocks.

I agree that it sounds like most people have had great experiences with their respective tuners. RRE has a big shop and more than a decade of experience as others may have too. I have been a RRE customer for many years and the service with Mike and especially Scot is always top tier. I have no reason to ever go elsewhere IMO.
