Wheel studs, DIY?

How hard to replace front wheel studs on an X? Can I bang them out after the rotors removed, or do I have to disassemble more stuff?

Banging them our is not the problem. Its getting them back in and seated properly that is of greater importance and concern. If you don't have the necessary tools for the job, I would recommend you take it to a facility that do it properly. You don't want wheel studs failing on you when you least expect it.
