SST's Unrepairable? [Archive]

I've been doing some research on the X's recently and found these handy little service video's online. In the video, it starts to talk about the SST trans and it states that it is (as of release date) an unrepairable transmission. Meaning that if anything goes wrong, you'd have to replace the whole thing. Does anyone have any information on this or if it is no longer such??

Yup this thing is unrepairable.. the good old warranty comes in to place.. but for those that are out of their warranty...omg. that thing must cost a grim of money

There are a few shops who are servicing the SSTs. But as far as warranty and mitsubishi go, if so much as a sensor goes bad, the entire tranmission (at this time) needs to be replaced. Same thing with the GTRs.
