so yesterday i got tuned at reese and after i got tuned i shifted like i normally would and it seemed a lot smoother, like before i got tuned if i would go from 4th to 5th at around 65 i would get this weird feel/noise, not really like a grind but more like it just wasnt coming together smoothly. im happy that my car now shifts a lot better now but i was just wondering how a tune could affect the feel of a shift. anyone know?

What was the baseline HP?
Maybe different timing at shifting RPM/load's?

Might be that the extra power/spool made your 4th to 5th a lot smoother. The tune will not physically do anything to your transmission.
Im guessing that weird "feeling/noise" was your car falling out of boost and getting under load.
