what rmps does your X idle at???

i normally turn it on and let it warm up for a little bit no big deal but recently ive noticed that it idles real low like 5-600... it sounds like a prius at red lights >:(... kind of a noob and was wondering what could be the issue or how could i up it without dropping too much.. i know i can do it on a tune or COBB but dont have that kind of money... any ideas?? thanks in advance

why up it...seems hardly necessary. Just be glad you aren't having idle issues like when the X's first came out. Mine still does it, once every couple months or so. Mine falls around 600, give or take 100rpms. If you're tired of it sounding like a prius, just slap on a straight pipe, problem solved.

What does a Prius sound like? Is it bad?

Me or any tuner can do a quick turn up on the idle through the ECU. Should take about 10 minutes total. I'd do it for free. I just dont know why it needs to be fixed.

mine idles ODD as hell. when i cruise at like 20-30 then shift into neutral to stop it starts jumping while im in neutral or with my clutch down from like 1200-1400. fluxes then when i stop drops back down to like 800-1000

Mine idles at 750 now, it used to rev slightly on its own when i was sitting idle at stop lights though. But its been reflashed back to stock since then.

mine sits around 600 to 700....with the a/c on a little bit higher

thread resurrected! lol anyone know the fix to the weird idle bouncing problem? i just noticed mine drops to the low 100s then back up to the 800s too and it feels like its about to stall.all hoses are connected unless its just a shitty sparkplug?

Mine does the 750-600 and sometimes drops lower. It just kinda hunts around all day at a light. It rarely sits in one steady place and its annoying as all hell. Apparently there are too many tables to edit on the 2010's ECU for anyone to really want to do it. Hopefully they get it to where you just edit one table and have it change all because I would love mine to just be turned up a little and stop hunting!

Hmmm.... my 2010 X's idle will bounce at times between 600-700 at stops. I feel like the car is going to stall at times.

anywhere in that 6-8 zone is normal i think.. i just dont like how sometimes it bounces for no real reason
