In your opinion, what intake?

In your opinion which intake should I get? I am looking at the aem, ams cold air, and the Perrin silicon tube with drop in filter. Or are there others I should consider? My x has 1000 miles now and is ready for some mods!

just go with a K&N drop in unless you plan to heavily modify your car then id go with AEM

Thats not fact, thats one tuners experience. I want a magazine or a companies side by side comparison. Otherwise well leave it a your opinion. With that said I as well as MANY OTHERS OPINION goes with AEM.

If it was my car, it would be a Cosworth drop in for a stock turbo. AEM for an upgraded turbo. But I am cheap and prefer stealth. Sheesh, cant even afford a X :-P

I have the AEM for mine. But i changed the cone filter for a K n N cone instead. The AEM cone was done from the desert trip. After changing it the evo felt alive again and it accelerates a tad bit better. Well it just feels better for me. Plus I use to have a K n N typhoon intake with my VIII. Since then I kinda missed the loud suction it had.

Thats a lie.. I heard you push a High HP Blue 08 Loaded X... Heard that thing is gonna make some big #'s... oh and on the AEM intake...huh

I'm rolling a TD04-15T right now :-/ A wadded up pair of Levis stuffed in a 2" pipe for a filter wouldn't restrict that turbo. Pull the wastegate hose off and it hits 28psi and drops to 15psi at redline.
