evoX need suggestion... Graphs from Tune 3/13/10

:mitsu: hello everyone,

I jus bought a used EvoX '08 last month and i want to modifyÂ* ^-^. I've had an Evo8 & 9 in the pass but i didn't do much to it. i wanted to know where to go to buy and install new things for my evoX and don't have much $$$ but willing to spend $$$??Â* :oops: can anyone help and suggest where to go (a good place)? I live in cerritos.. here's a list of things that i wanted to do but not all at one time:

AEM Cold Air Intake
Intake Suction Pipe
BOV (HKS preferrable)
Exhaust System (complete)
Turbo Timer (apex-i)
Boost Control
Dampers Coilovers (mabye later on)

They do great work and they even have their own "stealth exhaust"..

Yeah going bone stock for now, at least for a while until the mod bug kicks in again. Even my tint is legal. My neighbors hated my IX because it was loud. When they saw the new X they thought I was giving up on sports cars because it was so quiet and looked like a lancer, yeah right, suckers....

I still have my wideband from my old car, so if you wanna start tuning your own car let me know.

Take it over to RRE, they will handle everything, ordering it, installing it, and tuning it...

They are very close to cerritos (right down the street practically) and they do amazing work.

ok, here's an update.. going to pick up a MXP downpipe in lawndale today. and after valentines day i'll be goin back 2 RRE to put in a new exhausted system, intercooler, drop in filter, downpipe and of course tune/dyno :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: btw, anyone know if RRE will do a before & after dyno??

Before and after tuning dyno is standard. We put it on the dyno as is with the stock tune and stock boost pill and do 3-4 pulls till we get a solid basline. The get started tuning.

If you want dyno, off the dyno and up on the lift, parts install, back on the dyno for a parts only baseline and then tuning... that would cost $75 extra.

Trust me you dont need a BOV. Go to EDO performance. Thats where I went. Its in huntington beach if you are near there tell em Chad sent you. I wouldve gone to RRE but they were a lil farther.. Plus the prices were almost similar anyway. Depends where you are at.

as for coilovers install you should go at WEST END. Darrin is a pretty cool guy. And he knows his line of work very well.

i think you might find one on thses forums for sale.Â* i run the same uicp and love it.Â* dont tune till after you do that. it will raise your boost a few lbs from less flexing of the pipe.
