HKS RACING SUCTION RELOADED intake OR Injen CAI Intake your opinions?

Hey guys sorry but I am noob with EVO X era still >.> so flame if you want.. I got 08 EVO X MR... still deciding which intake to go so far I got HKS Racing Suction Reloaded intake? any opinions on this intake? HP GAINS? and power wise? or INJEN intake? let me know thanks again!!

I say AEM Intake. One of the best intakes for the X.
Get an exhaust, intake, fuel pump, and a tune, you'll be golden!!!

Hmmm I dont recall him asking about the AEM intake. But from what i have heard the AEM for the VIII-IX are better then the Injen intake, As far as X's are concerned the Injen is better then the AEM, give Looney Tuning a call he has tested both of these on a X and the Injen proved superior.

i've heard good things bout the injen, primarily from looney due to the MAF placement.

HKS has prived to not be very efficient on the CT9A models do your research not sure about the CZ4A's though.

hmmmm I had INJEN w/MR.TECH on my acura TSX and I loved it so... maybe ill go with INJEN on my EVO too

Go AEM and replace the cover with a plastic cut out. Looks stock which is always best IMO. See the Pics of the stealth AEM on RRE's website.

I presonally have the injen and I love it plus it's legal.. a friend of mine has the aem intake on his and I don't like it.. It's too quiet.. Even he said that he prefers the injen since he used to have it before.. As for hks idk I really like the way it looks and I would like it but I haven't really heard anything about it..

I've been hearing good things about the Injen as well for the X. Have the system for my VIII and loving it.

+1, It is carb exempt, i have the AEM intake and love it, when youre ready to get away from the ricer mentality of letting everyone hear your BOV and gain some good cold air power then try the AEM, then again you will never know the full potential of both intakes unless you get tuned once with the injen and another with the AEM.

RRE has DYNO and Road tuned results with the AEM CAI system being the best one out there for the X. They've been in the Mitsu business since 1994. I would give them a call for any questions.

Some cops don't care about CARB stickers. So the more stealth the better.

You do not need a fuel pump for an X. You need to be making much more power by that point to even consider it.

depending on who you ask, its either AEM or Injen.

I personally like the Injen b/c it has UICP too. and you can hear the turbo spool with the Injen.

if HKS and Injen are your options go with the injen.. it has a UICP and it has proven to give more hp then the AEM.. look it up and you would see.. I got a little JDM bling on mine and got the ARC Box.. I love the new extra power

if you like dirt getting through your filter or drive in dusty conditions then HKS is a NO GO

injen is just meh not my favorite brand.

i would go AEM and call it a good day and slap that carb sticker on that bish

I just had an AEM intake installed and tuned on my car. If sound is what you are after then go with an open element but I actually like that it doesnt make the sucking noise.
