^ Were you running 12's with a stock transmission? Or was it with all those upgrades?

I was running running an 12.97@106 (8.3@84 1/8mi) on 93oct OTC AP stage 1 tune, later I got a pro tune and DW 1000cc injectors; 330hp and ran an 8.15@86 1/8mi on CA91. Switched to E85, had it tuned to 370hp, 390lbft tq. and ran a 7.75@89 (Calculates to a 1/4mi of 12.15@~114) in the 1/8mi last Thurs. (never got in a clean run in, there is more in this car) Log shows the clutch pack released at 6600 in 1st gear letting the motor freewheel to the fuel cut at 7500 then re-engaged,Â* dropped to 6900rpm and shifted into 2nd @7400, easily fixed by manually short shifting into 2nd, the short shift better matches my TQ curve anyway. Not bad for a 100% stock SST, I love this gearbox! :smitten:

As an aside, my first trip to the drag strip netted a best 60' time of 2.01" then 2 weeks ago I was getting consistent 1.97" launches, the only change was swithing from "Tarmac" to "Snow" setting. Last week I was getting 1.75" 60' times, the only change this time was filling the SST with Wilall$ fluid; I can only assume the fluid change improved the launch.

I am still waiting on SST software upgrades. SSP have a lot of goodies for the SST, but without software, the hardware will not net any power gains.

That is a beast if I've ever seen one.

yeah the 1/4 mile times are great but im just talking about reliability in general. i know dragging will abuse it to the max and if it can handle it can probably handle highway runs. but just worried about that nonsense slipping for no reason that ppl seem to get.

i also +1 on the software package.
