Our office is located in costa mesa off of the 55 fwy and baker street.
4 wheel alignment is $113.05 which is 1.3 hours at our shop rate of $85 per hour.

Here is some advice. Choose one of the options above and. Determine who is close to you. Its pointless to have to drive for an hour if you have a suspension problem and they are so far away. All the shops listed do good work. I was looking to have more work done on my car and am looking at robispec. OTown is on my team and he loves his work. So that's my next setup... PM some members to get opinions without. Drama..

EVERY alignment we do at Muellerized... is a performance alignment.Â* We ask you in plain english about your car and what your preferences are between tire life and grip as well as ride quality and then source tires (if applicable) and complete a 4 wheel alignment to meet each customer's performance preferences.Â* Then every car is test-driven in our known smooth and level test lanes to ensure that your steering wheel is centered (straight) and that your car drives as expected.

We even tell you that if you like the gangster lean (steering wheel to one side while you lean way back and holler at people) we are happy to adjust your steering wheel to your desired angle. ^-^

If it is an EVO, pick an EVO shop. I only know about Muellerized and I know that they do EVOs all day every day. That is important. If I had a Honda, I would go to a Honda shop. That is my .02. GL.

I just had my car done at West End Alignment. Darin (the owner) has aligned all of my cars, from my MR2 track car to my old X3 daily driver. I can't believe how great the car feels now! He does a great job and takes a lot of pride in his workmanship. Highly recommended.

http://johnsonsalignment.com/ This is where I go. The nice thing about this place is that you drive onto ground level lift and they work below ground level. no need to worry about clearance if you're low. They do a lot of lowered high performance cars. They have to fully track spec porches on site that the owners race

If you plot the four most popular mentioned shops based on how passionate people are about them, you will see that Muellerized, West End Alignment, and Robispec form an almost perfect triangle, with Evasive inside that triangle. You can almost choose your shop just based on your geographical location and convenience.

I've had positive experiences with West End Alignment(about 3 years ago) and Muellerized(most recently).

Of the four shops listed, West End Alignment is the most different. If it had any negatives, I'd say that they were more about services rather than goods, meaning you probably already made your buying decisions before you go there to either install or align. This could also be considered a positive of course, since they are (or were) vendor neutral and don't have to be influenced by any profit margins regarding what parts to use.

They don't really have a website either, just had a real "mom and pop" shop feel to it. When I went there Chris had not started yet (or maybe wasn't around?), it was just Darin and it felt like entering a master weaponsmith's shop where he brings in raw materials and then forges them to razor sharp handling machines to your desire.

Muellerized is full service, so you can buy from them and have them do all the work as well. I'm sure you could probably save yourself a few bucks (or more than a few bucks probably) if you shopped around and put together your own kit, but a full service shop does mean it can spare you the pain of finding out that maybe you didn't buy the carpet that match the drapes, so to speak, so now you're stuck with mismatched parts.

There is certainly something to be said about a shop that stands behind the products it sells. Had I gone to Muellerized in the first place those years ago I probably would have ended up with a setup with a bit more potential due to a better idea of what direction to go next.

In the end I think if you're either headstrong about what specific parts you want or really know what kind of setup you're looking for and especially if you already have the parts, then maybe West End Alignment might be the better decision. If on the other hand you have a general idea of what you want but are open to the options and advice, then a shop like Muellerized will yield a better experience.

Again, no experience with Robispec or Evasive, but they sound similar to Muellerized. For me the logical choice was Muellerized because they are located between my home/work commute.
