Short throw shift pains!!

Sent my tranny to shep racing and my buddy did too... I put a short throw in mine and it goes into gear rough and his Is like butta! WTF

Ok here we go lol sent tranny off the shep racing to get the gears rem'd and while it was gone i put a b&b short through in... and when i put my trans back in it was tough to get into gear and almost impossible to get into 5th... its better now but def not smooth at all! hopefully thats enough info idk if i missed a step or what
