***update, problems is now fixed. turned out to be a bad cable.
is my ecu bricked for my evo 9.
symptons are as follows;
I can log using evoscan, I cant read or write even with a totalĀ* re-install of ecuflash V1.34.
with both the white/black connector connected and computer connected to the usb the car will not start.
The car will start if I have the computer not conneted while both the white/black connectors are connected on the 1.34 taxtric cable.
When the car is idling, the car will die if the computer is connected to the usb as long as the white connector is connected.
Voltage readings are (white connector disconnected) 5V from ECU to white connector plug, 15V from pin on white connector coming from the black one.
so Is my cable bad or is my ecu bricked?
