Hey everybody!Â* I love the RPF01's but I can't make up my mind between 19x10 +22 or 18x10.5 +15.Â* :-\Â* It's for DD and I want to run a 275 size tire.Â* I'm willing to roll the rear fenders but I don't want to have to run any camber.Â* What do you guys think?Â* Any opinions would be greatly appreciatedÂ* O0Â* Thanks in advance

Sorry, but unless you are not planning on lowering your vehicle, you'll need to roll your rear fenders and run camber in order to run any of the setups you've mentioned.

OIC, how much camber do you think I'll need to run?Â* Bare minimum -1F and -1R?Â* Would that wear out the tire tread unevenly too quickly or is -1F and -1R minor and barely noticeable on tread wear?Â* Or do I need to run more camber?

On the 18x10.5 +15 you would have to run at about -3 deg up front and Almost or maxing out your rear at -2 with rolled fenders and chopping your bumper tabs.. (depending on your drop!)

-1 deg of camber is barely noticeable and your tires will be fine.. but thats not happening on this setup ^^^

a lot easier with 18x9.5+22 off set like mentioned above ^^^^

18x10+25 off set can be done with hardly any issues as well.
My next set up on 285's is either 18x10.5+25 or +22 once you go below that, you can run into a lot of small difficulties when it comes down to "proper" clearance...

BTW
I dont know how you guys can stand Azeniz, I hate those tires ****

So im talking to a rep at muellerized and they said that rpf1's aren't evo friendly and is saying that i need to run spacers in order for the wheel to clear the brembo calipers, is this true??!

18x9.5 +15. are other members with these wheels having problems clearing the breaks?

Due to the spoke design on the rpf1 u need
Spacers on a non so aggressive off set in order to clear the front brakes.
Now perhaps this is an issue on the Xs.

For the 18x9.5+15 rpf1's, you do not need spacer. I had to run -2 camber front and back to fit this. Rears rolled. I'm on 255/40's btw, but I imagine 275/35 will have much more issues.

18x9.5+15 can be ran with no Spacers ALL DAY...... So No Mueller is wrong if he said you need spacers...

I run that setup allday =) No Spacers Clears with no Issues.

I'm lowered on gf210s (evo 9)..will there be any issues with clearing the springs?

Shouldn't.... =) I was lowered on Tein's for a min for my coilover Rebuild and was fine. You will most definately need camber in the rear and Rolled with a slight pull for le-way

Hi Josh,

Just saw this and wanted to follow up.Â* It looks like Adrian mentioned that you needed to be careful about making sure that the offsets you're interested clear the factory brake calipers.Â* That offset may clear, others have stated it does.

Another thing to consider is that wheel alignment is only at best a band-aid for wheel/tire clearance.Â* We prefer to set alignment based on your tire wear/grip preferences.Â* Then we measure wheel/tire clearance and add clearance as necessary.

As an example relative to what you want to accomplish, a customer of ours with Enkei RPF01 18x10.5 +15 offset with 285/35/18 Hankook RS3 tires needed 8 hours of wheel/tire clearance measurement/modification with a stock strut car.Â* 8 hours is $680 (shop labor rate is $85/hour).Â* We caution people from buying certain sizes/offsets of wheels as there is often heavy penalty on the clearancing side.Â* The more clearancing you have to do, the more likely it is for paint to crack.Â* Also, in some cases just clearancing in the rear is necessary, but in large jobs like this, you often have to clearance the fronts as well.

Enkei RPF01 18x10.5 +15 Hankook 285/35/18 - Fender Rolling w/ stock struts
(Tire had already contacted the chassis prior to customer bringing us the car. This had rubbed off a bunch of paint onto the tires. See how inboard on the tires the paint marks are.)

They don't make a 18x10.5 + 30.... they have only sell them in a +15
They do make a 18x10+38... with this Setup, YES you will need a Spacer...

I dont see why you would want to put on a 18x10.5+38 on unless you found the rims used from somewhere, as +15 is the most common off set for RPF1's.

Keep In mind people that Not every rim size is the SAME for every other brand. If that makes since... You can Put on a 18x10.5+15 NT03's (I think +15) on an 8/9 and not nearly looks as bad....Â* however a RPF1 in a 18x10.5 +15 is pretty aggressive on a 8/9 using the stock fenders... a Widebody is a MUST.

Eibach's drop is pretty low. Personally, I'd run a +15. Right now I'm on RPF1's in 9.l5 +15. My next wheel is def. going to be 10.5 wide.

And it clears my Brembo's. Needs slight roll for sure.

+1. I'm running 18x9.5 +15 with a very minor fender roll in the rears. Although my liner up front does rub a bit at full lock.
