You wont kill the tranny though. One of the clutches may start slipping but then you upgrade.

thats for the whole assembled unit though...maybe when you kill it(hoping you dont) but say if you do you might need to only buy parts (better parts) and it might be cheaper? lol

I don't think Getrag will sell the individual parts.

And that just boggles the mind....if there is an issue....there is no way to repair it and your screwed. Based on the rapid increase in the number of failures the last few months, something is going to have to change....not many can afford 10K if something breaks.

Not an option for many....Mitsu has denied for the mere addition of transmission coolerÂ* (trust me, I know this) .Â* Â*They are less than interested in replacing if they can skate on it. As much fun as the MR is...at this point I would strongly suggest that until parts are available.....people run away from the idea of purchasing a Mitsu with the SST transmission. Its a 10K risk to say the least...and you get to pay a premium to take that risk...
