Hey guys so Im loving my evo mr-t so far, this past weekend I let my friend do a quick test drive and afterwards my drivers seat felt as if something is off, and now it's giving me severe back pain whereas before the test drive it was extremely comfortable with no problems, my friend is about 240 lbs so Im thinking that maybe he bent the seat out of shape? or maybe compressed the padding down some? i noticed that the back padding is not completely attatched to the seat itself so it might be possible to stuff a t-shirt in there or something - but I seriously am having issues with this, my back is killing me, im thinking of just replacing the front seat or springing for some brides, what do you guys think? :(

Your seats might be coming loose as the fabric and foams are kinda just "stapled" in >.>

"Husky" people are not very friendly to the Evo seats. I wouldn't be surprised if he bent or broke something.Â* Years ago on this forum.......like 2004 years ago..... There was a member Soooo "Husky" he BROKE his Evo seat. :buck2:Â* I would personally put a weight limit on people I let "test drive" my Evo OR sit in the Recaros.
You should have put his "Husky" ass in the back seat and drove him around yourself

I have had my Evo 8 since 05 and am glad to report that this husky ass big mofo has yet to hurt his seat.

I am in the 350 lb range and have tracked my car regularly with no issues man. Maybe the quality has gone downhill on the newer seats.

On a side note i kind of did break the passenger seat stretching my arms out!!

I doubt that your friend broke the seat. I'm sure 240lb is within the weight limit. Maybe the adjustments were changed slightly. But I hear you...I'm very picky about how my seat feels.

Are you kidding me.. I have a X and had stock seats and am 245 and I never had an issue.. maybe your friend messed with the support on it and its uncomfortable..

I do however run Sparco Pro2000s and those are way better but they are fixed for tracking..

For some reason my recaros have been making my back hurt a well. I am the only one that sits in it and I weigh 170. I have tried adjusting my seat many times and it still doesnt seem to not hurt my back. Today for instance i was driving to work and my back hurt and keeping my head up off the headrest was a pain
