loud squeeking noise in front right dash

There is a loud Squeeking noise that comes and go depends on the car's vibration. It's locating around the glove box, ac vent, passenger pillar area. It sounds like a screw is loose but loud... like a sport whistle blown from the next room over. I've heard it's a common problem... but haven't seen a fix online... anyone know?

Go take it toÂ* :mitsu: your X should still be under warranty, if not they may have a Service Bulletin on this if its as common as you say. EIther way it would be at no cost to you. So why mess with it yourself?

yeah, i know my dealer would fix it... they said they would. it's just that I live 60+ miles from my dealership. So if i can find it and just do a 5 min fix.. it's worth it.
Do I HAVE to take it to my dealership? or any Mitsu service center will do? If so.. that might work.
