View Full Version : How or Where to Remove stock wheel weights w/o Damage?

I dont know why Mitsu decided to put the stock wheel weights on the outside effectively damaging the wheel when new tires are placed on, but how many have had luck removing the wheel weights or taking it somewhere that they have a special tool for this.

When it was put on, it already damage the wheel. You can take a flat screw driver and snap it off.

A hose pick worked SUPER DUPER on mine with no damage. Good luck!

We have a snap on tool that removes the weights, and we only use tape on wheel weights after we balance any wheel.
