im ready to order my wheel and tire combo but i am not sure what offset a should be running in the following specs:

Forgestar F14 in 18x10 and i want to run 273-35-18 to keep about the same overall diameter of the wheels now.

I will also want the car lowered so there is as little gap between the fender and the tires...i will roll fenders if i have to.

any help would be greatly appreciated

when you lower the car, the more negative the offset it would take to be more 'flush'

kandyredcoi
10-26-2010, 11:57 PM
^yup, i may need to run spacers, it all depends how it looks after the drop :) +18 is the lowest the FORGESTARS can be made at 18x10

^^^^ I'm sorry, that doesn't look like they barely" fit!
U need some pulling and rolling on the rear panels. >={
For a DD that might more than enough, but at the track you might have some clearance issues.
My conclusion is based on the R compound R888; I might be wrong tho...

trimmed the rear fenders still rubs on driveways and such, no issues up front even at hard cornering

the rear panels are always a challenge when trying to run an aggressive off set.

Love the "Can Do" attitude..... But certain things really need the aid of a professional!

Fender rolling..... Calm down there. Yes your car is on a "rack" .....Pep Boy's uses lifts....doesn't mean I would let them work on my car.

I would just be EXTREMELY picky as to who "rolled my fenders" or set my car up.

You asked for "help". IIRC.

^lol i just asked...wasnt gettin all crazy...other members asked for pics so i shared...the fender might need to be rolled/trimmed some more

Who did the work? If u don't mind?
N as long as a place checks for suspension clearance u r good to go. I swear people make it seem like is fking rocket science.

Quick question for ms fuel, which size tire and offset will clear an APR widebody evo8 with stock suspension.. 18x10.5+15, 18x9.5+10 or 17's with same specs? Pls advise?

FUEL

The Muellerized Race Evo runs 18 x 10.5 +15 offset wheels with 315 tires WITHOUT spacers but with a wide body. Even with the wide body a person must make huge chassis modifications in order to make the wheels fit and to get FULL suspension travel on the car. There's really no point to putting huge wheels and tires on a car.... Only to limit suspension travel....it doesn't make sense. :buck2:

I am unsure what suspension you have under your car..... I also do not know the specs on the APR widebody. But if your pocketbook allows you to run some crazy set up like that.... Then by all means contact Muellerized so you may get all the details sorted out.
