Hi all, im driving 05 evo9. i need help of removing my car dashboard. any one got tutorial for removing dashboard? thanks alot.

It's an 05? Then it's an VIII not a IX.

And why are u trying to remove the dashboard?

my dashboard centre part making sound, the sound got when i press on it while driving. yeah, my car is 05 end and it an evo9 with mivec turbo.

theres about almost 30 screws you need to take out before you can get the dash off

wow, thanks for the picture. just what i needed. 1 last question, on the 3rd picture, item no.12 can be remove without taking out the whole dashboard? i just need to remove that part. thanks alot.

No, the entire dash has to be pulled in order to remove item 12, the screws are located inside the dash to remove the top piece.

yeah bro, i still try to find toturial for removw my dash. but im from malaysia. not in state. anyway, thanks for ur offer .

Unfortunately I don't think there is a tutorial, there's is some to remove pieces of the dash but not the entire dash. What does make it simple to remove is the fact that all the bolts that hold the dash to the actual car are the same. Look for tutorials that guide you through removing certain pieces, i.e. glove box, air control, stereo, lower panels below steering wheel, the center clock, etc. First time it took me a whole weekend to remove, but after you know how it only takes like 30 minutes. The trickest thing i ran into was the two bolts that hold the passenger side air bag bracket to the car. If you have any questions, let me know.

probably be wise to disarm the airbag circuit before doing this, right?
