Has anyone removed the plastic undertray or skidplate what ever you call it I heard it help cool down temp just seeing if anyone is running there car without one

i took it off cuz i kept blowing intercooler pipes so it helped to do a quick fix on the side of the freeway

thats a good way to look at it but did u guys notice anything different temp wise or how about high speeds on freeway did it affect it at all sorry for the dumn questions i just never removed one before i always left them on

just leave it on, take it off it you really need too

ehhh that was my first mod i did by taking off the undertray.....

no difference when had it on or off.... but once you work on ur car its going to be a bitch especially if ic pip comes off....

I agree, it also helps excess air moving from the bottom of the car to your engine bay.

The inside of your engine bay will get really dirty if you take it off. If you are running an after market intake this can make a difference in how often you have to clean your filter.

ive been debating what to do with mine.Â* i removed the long rubber piece that goes under the front lip because it looks awkward and gets caught on shit, but then there's nothing holding the front of all the plastic undertray panels together. so i yanked out the metal lining inside the rubber trim and used that, but now you can see shiny metal at low angles. fml :buck2:

Just leave it on....it really helps more than you know O0 Personal instances where it protected my under goodies from SoCal's freeways littered with semi trailer retread tires >:(
