Looking into installing a train horn on my MR....Anyone have any experience with this? ---either experiences or past installations, past trouble with scaring the pee out of someone, etc?? :idiot2:

Its only 2 wires. Pretty much a no brainer, lol. :P

Unless you get the air horn, which is a bit more complicated and requires some space, lol

I had some bozo in a Nissan truck blast his under the tunnel on Lakewood Blvd near the LB airport and it sounded and felt like the tunnel was collapsing, scared the crap out of me....Now it is time for revenge! Â*Also, I am hoping Mitsu corporate won't void my warrantee for an aftermarket horn and claim it caused a head gasket problem, lol.

I've been wanting one for a long time, but I heard its a lot of cutting and basically a lot more work than people think. I decided to wait on it.

^ Nah they'll tell you it shortcircutted the wiring which fried the ecu ... or something ... Therefore throwing out your whole electrical warranty ... :mitsu:

You can always cary a hand held one in your car, roll down the window, and blast someone lol

^^
They make some pretty decently loud hand held ones.Â* I know its a little lame rolling down your windows to use it but if you dont want to mess with wiring then this works!Â*
Just dont leave it in the sun on a hot day....... BOOOOOM!!!

Plus if someone really pisses you off you can throw that ish at their car!

It is very interesting that you have installed a train horn (http://www.jcwhitney.com/3-sound-train-horns/p2009068.jcwx) for your vehicle. In this way, I am more interested to actually see it in order to get the end result of that in a car.
