Short Shifter Q

Im about to pull the trigger on some TMW SS and all the bushings. However I also wanted to know how are the Works and I saw that T1R has one as well. I like the TMW because shorter than Works but from what I heard that having very short SS is not very good. All input will be appreciated.

i own the twm ss w/ bushings and can't be any happier, all throws are nice and crisp now compared to the stock.

is the lockout in 1st gear an issue with the TWM? in my wrx the short shifter made it seem almost impossible to get it into 1st gear unless i was almost completely stopped

no sure man, i have the works SS. I was going to pull the trigger on some TMW but pricing went up.
