well went to RRE yesterday had the thugline clutch installed on my x.just wanted to say thanks to the RRE crew.
getting stuck in traffic on 5 south is no fun with new clutch...after the break in ,its time to thug...

Congrats on your new clutch. Â*After going through 9 clutches on my car, the custom ACT RRE put in is holding up the longer than the twin plate and carbon triple plates i tried and is easier to drive.

yep ! fried like mushrooms lol..i burned @ like 6 or 7k miles once = 2 day smell.burnt it 2wks ago=same smell time,plus in traffic after a while it would smell. i think im just hard on my clutches(gonna work on that). my evo 8 only went 12k miles.
i guess the stock clutches dont like me....

yeah i told myself i would try to make my clutch last this time but i think it just comes from my pedal work. i tend to ride the clutch alot for some reason.trying to fix that tho.

BTW. i do not drive like a mad man or ass..im just heavy on the pedal.(and not the right foot either)i tend to drag my clutch to much and rest my foot on it.bad habits...
i learned to drive manual on my evo 8 .i did alot of learning with that one....

yeah, mike told me you have the thug line clutch and you got the cmc option for added security .im thinking of doing the same.
