So my friend has a IX Mr. Today we were doing a third gear pull to set the mbc for e85. Well after that third gear pull the third and fourth gears are so damn hard to shift. It feels as if there is a rubber piece in there that's keeping it from going into gear. You litterly have to use a lot of strength to get the car to shift into 3rd and 4th. Every other gear shifts perfect! What could this possibly be? I have searched the site for answers as well and other sites and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Try ajusting the clutch pedal a tiny bit... Also if it goes into all the gears no problem when the car is off the tranny is most likely not the issue O0

Yeah we adjusted the clutch pedal last night, when the cars off its still has tension in 3rd & 4th. I do have a feeling its the shift linkage.
