Honest question here, I've thought about getting an alarm for my X but if someone wanted to jack our cars, I'm sure they're most of the people that steal X's know what they're doing and the alarm won't make much of a difference, so what's the use of getting one?

short answer if an above average thief wants your ride they will get it

now the average dumb thief who will smash your window and grab what they see can see and dig through in 30 seconds that's where the alarm comes in even better if the pager tells you otherwise and you can open a can of whoop ass

or you rather be the owner who comes back to the vehicle with some busted glass and ripped interior because you didn't have a line of defense setup
