NOTES** Just finished this X about 2 hours ago.Â* This particular X was on the higher side of the power spectrum with the factory flash. AFRs were actually quite good and some minor knock (5 count max). After swapping the black fuel pump relay to the new blue one we began our power tune. Tuned boost of 24.5psi holdling 17.5 by redline. Afrs of 11.5 holding 11.1 by redline. New timing and MIVEC maps. Peak boost comes on 150RPMs sooner. MAX GAINS of 31whp and 48lb-ft. PEAK GAINS of 24whp and 34 lb-ft. REDLINE gains 30whp and 25 lb-ft This car was the first one in a while to have the fuel pressure regulator line pop off on me. It happened during my final run through ( I call it the "ringer") where I drive the car and beat the hell out of it for a few minutes. The hesitation was unmistakable followed by the bouncing idle; something you become familiar with when you've seen it several times. The tephra v1 knock light was also going off during the test runs.Â* It is important to note that the lean condition caused by this, or a blown relay, will NOT always trigger the knock sensor.Â* After zip tying the line i looked at the logs and AFRS were in the 13s; once that was fixed AFRS were in the low 11s where they should be.
FPR line popped:
